This training focused on regulatory compliance, resident safety, staff accountability, and inspection readiness. It provided critical insights to help Administrators and Resident Care Coordinators implement effective medication management systems.

Beginning April 1, 2025, NC Medicaid PCS in adult and family care homes will be reimbursed on a per diem (per day) payment structure, rather than the current 15-minute increment, and will the new service will be called Congregate Care Setting services.

On January 29, 2025, NCSLA hosted a webinar presented by NC Medicaid with WRenia Bratts-Brown, Associate Director, Home and Community Based Services and Juanita Jefferson, Personal Care Services Unit Manager regarding the upcoming Medicaid per diem (per day) payment system for Medicaid Personal Care Services (PCS). Effective April 1, 2025, Medicaid PCS in adult and family care homes will be called Congregate Care Setting services and will be reimbursed on a per diem payment structure.
