Candace Dufour, PharmD, attended Shenandoah University School of Pharmacy, in Winchester VA.  She is originally from the Southwestern part of VA. Candace joined the Southern Pharmacy team in 2010 and began her career working as a staff pharmacist.  In January 2023, she accepted the position of Director of Consulting Services.  Prior to working at Southern Pharmacy, she gained experience in Retail, and Long-Term Care pharmacy focusing on IV and Anticoagulant dosing.  Candace enjoys being a liaison between the pharmacy’s customer, and pharmacy departments, to allow Southern to find way to provide superior customer service.

Successful LTSS provides better care, resulting in healthier people, better outcomes and lower costs.

Working in Healthcare Technology has proved to be a strong foundation for her growth and expertise in value based service & practice management solutions. Her experience includes designing and implementing innovative technology and data management systems, case management and direct care staffing strategic planning, government and regulatory policy knowledge, claim billing resolution within multi-payer systems including Medicaid, Commercial Insurance, and Managed Care organizations.
